About Sean Anderson

Sean Anderson brings over a decade of video production and design experience to indiekid films.

A graduate from the University of Colorado film program in 1993, Anderson began working with The Criterion Collection as a producer and designer. In 1998, he supervised Criterion's transition from laser disc to DVD, and was then charged with overseeing the production of over 140 Criterion DVD titles.

In 2001, he co-founded Plexifilm, an independent DVD label and digital film studio. In May of 2002 he became Creative Director of Blink Digital, which provides DVD production services to movie studios, where he oversaw all elements of production, from featurette and commentary production to menu design.

To date, he has produced and edited features for Brazil, Austin Powers:Goldmember, S1m0ne, Eloise at the Plaza, The Rock and Gangs of New York, to name a few. He has also designed or art directed menus for Rushmore, Spartacus, Gimme Shelter, Robocop, Pimp My Ride as well as over a hundred Miramax, Disney, Paramount, and Criterion Collection DVDs.

At Indiekid he hopes to bring the same commitment to technical and editorial excellence to the world of kids cinema.
